and the only way to remove the pin (without reflashing)is to either use dream control center or a program called tuxbox (its also called tuxcom), but if your box is pin locked its probably password locked aswell meaninging that if you don't have the password dcc wont allow you access to the box (but try it just in case as it may work). If option 1 is not an option, then you either have to reflash the box remove the current pin.

If carrickro does not want to read my posts on how to set up a simple personal share and wishes to instead share his credit card details with these crooks, then i will not support this behaviour with advice. so I in no way disagree with you, i just ask the forum members make some effort to understand what they are working withĪnd to the typical request from carrickro i can give a simple answer to this, which i have given many times over to other users who have set up personal shares, but i simply couldn't be bothered supporting users who will likely get fleeced by these gangsters. worst of all they must supply all of their card details to such dodgy sources. instead many of the users are putting themselves at extreme risk by using shares run by people they have no knowledge of. i am really trying to get the point across that with minimum effort (just a little reading of the threads) it is very simple to set up a secure friends share. cs is totally illegal and doing it amongst friends or using a share server is illegal. Its not about casting stones, its about sharing your credit card details with gangsters.
